The front office led by the owner, John is highly responsive, consultative, and knowledgeable. All calls are answered within 24 hours, promises made are promises kept, and no question is too dumb to be asked. He has a very high level of expertise and will visit your home as often as is needed to get the project scope right. The finest materials are procured including cedar pergolas and the very best composite decking material.

John’s construction crew is responsible for the operations side, and they are equally impressive in terms of knowledge, experience, and dedication to quality. Working in under 10-degree weather they tore down my old deck, built a new substructure, a new polycarbonate roofed pergola, and a new deck using cool decking composite material in less than a week’s time. The attention to detail and the pride taken in completing a truly impressive piece of construction was nothing short of breath-taking. And John checks in with them throughout the build.

In less than one week’s time, they tore down my old run-down dilapidated eyesore of a deck and created something truly special. I still can’t get over it.

I came across Chicagoland Pergolas on Facebook and reached out to John who was extremely responsive. He was quick to book an appointment to come round and provide a quote. He was helpful giving advice and providing amendments to quotes upon request.

After getting some other quotes back we chose Chicagoland due to their responsiveness and ability to get the job done much quicker than their peers, and without a surcharge for bringing materials to a third floor walk up. We also liked that they use high quality cedar and have a wide variety of stains.

Come installation date John was the best! He was communicative on arrival time, provided a thorough run through and explained what he was going to do. Him and his partner were able to put it up in one day. They were respectful of the space too, such nice people.

The quality of the pergola is great and stands out from others that are around us, we are so happy we chose these guys and can’t wait to enjoy it soon.
